With almost 10 miles of nectar shaded sands, Patara is one of the longest shorelines in Turkey, and was previously the area's most critical port. Old Roman ruins – including an amphitheater – back the shoreline, and are perfect for rushing around. For eco-peekers, Patara is a secured settling ground for loggerhead turtles, which lay their eggs on these shores on summer nights.
