Bill Gates may field his superyacht in Bozburun, a shielded sound 45km northwest of Marmaris, yet this is still a conventional town, best-known for its carefully assembled wooden gulet pontoons. South of the town focus, Hotel Aphrodite is as dazzling as its namesake: 22 rooms look out over a tangle of fig trees and grape vines. Each has it private porch or patio. Outside, its truly a bounce into the ocean for children, while a lot of guardian inviting loungers roost on the shady wooden decking. When you require a break from sprinkling around, Aphrodite arranges pontoon excursions, climbs into the slopes and grills.
